We are changing the lives of children locally and across the globe.
Our Mission is to advocate for and serve orphans and at-risk children through personal action and partnership development. Our vision is to build a self-sustaining ecosystem of ideas, individuals, and organizations equipped to carry out the mission of hope for every orphan in the world.
Restoration
The Echo Foundation, Inc. has been able to make greater impact in the lives of over 500 orphans in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. From re-establishing working plumbing, to restoring electricity and replacing light fixtures and switches, we are constantly working on projects to restore living conditions.
Necessities
Personal hygiene and care items are almost impossible to keep in stock. We partner with each children’s center to supplement pain and fever relieving medications, first aid supplies, feminine hygiene notions, and furnish their restroom facilities with working doors and shower curtains to maintain dignity and privacy.
Education
We firmly believe that psychosocial education is an absolute priority. Many orphanage caregivers are under trained, under educated, and have to face ridiculous nanny to children ratios. We are diligent in our work to improve the structural and physical environments of Kolfe, Kechene, and Kibebe Tsehay, connecting with the children, guiding them to understand their life story and how hurt and trauma can be turned into positive strength.

With many projects and objectives at these three compounds, many resources and man hours are needed on various levels. Financial assistance is constantly needed as we try to manage the upkeep, repair, and maintenance projects that await us at each orphanage.
